Fall at Glamp Frogmore

Glamp Frogmore, a unique glamping experience.

As we say goodbye to Summer, we enter the last six weeks of the 2022 season of Glamp Frogmore. In our opinion, this is the best time to visit. October brings warm days and crisp nights, the leaves start to display their magnificent colors, and the bugs are gone.

What better way to end the day than by gathering around the campfire with a mug of hot cider knowing that when you’re ready to hit the sack, the tent will be nice and warm heated by the wood stove.

Wake to have hot coffee and croissants waiting for you (available as an extra when you reserve your dates). After breakfast, we recommend a morning hike on one of the many miles of trails available at the abutting Maxwell Mays Audubon Refuge. Check out the beaver dam or the frog shaped rock. After that, head over to Wickford, a 25 minute drive, if you’re feeling energetic, rent some kayaks and explore the Rhode Island shoreline, if not, spent some time shopping and/or have lunch at one of the quaint seaside restaurants. On the way home, visit The Tilted Barn Brewery and sample some of their amazing craft beers/ciders.

Return to the glampsite for an afternoon nap, or curl up on the futon by the woodstove and enjoy a good book.
